@Bluford Craig tried to slip it past us but on the Bluford page it says the first two runs of the USRA hopper have shipped to shops and distributors on June 13th.

See "New N scale Tooling from Bluford Shops!" and "Bluford Announces 2nd group of USRA hoppers" for details

It's in the fine print at the end of the product description "Delivery is expected in the 4th quarter of 2016"

I think you skipped a set

Note especially those C&EI hoppers.....

Need to get back to work on the coal mine....

I have a mind like a steel trap...a VERY rusty, old steel trap.

Nice model.   I bought some of the undecorated.  I am unable to remove coupler for painting after having removed the screw.  Can anyone recommend how to safely remove for reuse?

Thanks,
Kerbe

If they are like the latest 3 bay hoppers there should be a couple more screws under the trucks. The entire under frame will come off in one piece. They are Micro-trains copies so be careful not to loose the centering spring.

Reassembly should be the same as a 1015/1016 coupler, except with the added fun of assembling two at once and putting the car back onto the underframe.  :| :D

Thanks, Ryan.   That did it as I did not remove the underbody screws.
