Has anyone received or seen any of the new intermountain F units that have the factory installed sound units?

If so, what are they like?

I imagine you'll see the SD40-2s first.

Anything from Intermountain/ESU is on hold until at least July as ESU works on decoders for the locomotives.  Last I heard was June was next timeframe to get a sample from factory, which needs tested and approval from all parties, then it can go into production.

Always check here ==>  http://www.intermountain-railway.com/newsncomingsoon.html

Last updated May 15th, the current expected date for any of the sound F7's is Nov/Dev 2016.  Obviously, this may slip.  You can sign up at Intermountain for their newsletter (here: http://intermountain-railway.com/modelersclub/?page_id=63 ) and you can pretty much count on when it comes out, they have updated the web page so you can check on the latest ETA date.

I ordered (pre-ordered) a box car in August 2013 and two F7s in July/August 2014.

But hey, my Deluxe Innovations wood chip cars haven't arrived, too.

Still waiting.

The new Intermountain newsletter came out on the 11th and IM has updated it's Current Advanced Reservation Items page.

F7's - delayed from Nov/Dec 2016 to April 2017
SD40-2's still listed for August/Sept 2016

Any of the non-ATSF 1937 AAR 10' 6" modified boxcars were put on TBD status.  The ATSF are listed as Oct/Nov 2016
A good number of the 1937 10' IH boxcars were put on TBD status.  The rest are still listed as October 2016

I haven't tracked the rest - 70-on flats, hoppers, etc.

Don't know what is going on - clicking on your link results in "Can't reach this page"
I got their e-mail yesterday but now can't reach their web site. Same result from different computers.
Anybody else?
Maybe this is related to my being located in Europe.

I just tried the link, and it takes me right to Intermountain's web site.
