LOL, when I saw that on your layout I was thinking Perhsing Ave street running.So...would that also work for a turn-of-the-century silver smelter if mated to some ore bins and a square brick smokestack?
On that site I see a lot of 3D printed stuff with an extrusion-type printer. You see a lot of "stepping" on curved surfaces and the "spaghetti lines" on straight walls. There also appears to be some resin stuff. But I'd say pick the nice cheap things to scratch build stuff with.
