Christmas in April!  Appropriate because it's snowing outside and there's over half a foot on the ground...

I really appreciate the encouragement and support of you guys.... you got me moving today if only to rn a train or two

I switched McGavins....an Airslide  day keeps the bread trucks out all day.....

The little guy got pressed into service at the mill....

Really guys; your support means so much, especially when I don't feel like it's worth making the effort to get working on trains....
Model railroading isn't saving my life, but it's providing me moments of joy not normally associated with my current situation..... Train are good!

I am just guessing at this Pud , but being as you still speak for Rapido my guess is Rapido is treating you as a big brother and not just a fairly new employee . If that's the case , Thank You Rapido .

I am being cared for by Rapido as if I was a family member, not an employee; by my workmates as if I was there everyday; keeping me valued and useful... I was told that our factory employees in China, only a few of whom I have ever even spoken with stopped and prayed for my health a while back....what can you say about that..... and then there is Jason.... there are no words to describe the size of his heart, the loyalty he has for his friends and family and for what he has done for me personally.... the quality of our products pales in comparison with the quality of the people who work so hard to produce them.... I am blessed to be a part of the Rapido family.

Here's a pair of Bluford Woodchip hoppers I just finished up this week. I think they're a total foob as I couldn't find any pictures of one anywhere.
Painted with True Color ICG Orange. The Split Rail logo, the ACI & COTS plates and the Wheel Inspection Dot were Microscale decals, the rest I printed on an inkjet printer.

The Black IC hopper is a stock Bluford car.
Here's the blog post.

As much as I dislike that railroad, I love that orange stripe.

That is a truly inspirational statement.   Thank you sir!

And the Leafs get the first draft choice !  Goodness and light shall shine upon us all (plus a few goals!  We hope).

Go Leafs!

chuck geiger:  I don't know if it's Google or Firefox, but I cannot see your pictures.  The ones you posted last week never appeared, and this week's also don't show.  I don't have problems with any of the others in this topic, and didn't have trouble with yours until last week's Update.

I even tried copying the picture URL from the source code, and like last week, got only a Google logon page when I tried to open it directly.

Looking at your Blogspot page, I noticed the picture of BN 6126 in Skykomish, with "GN 1731" spray painted on it.  I don't know how did it, or why, but this was the GN 599, built 4-58.  It would be nice to see it in full GN paint, but it served twice as long on the BN, and part of its GN service was in the simplified green and orange.  As an historic exhibit, and to preserve another part of Sky's history, they might want to restore it as BN 6126.   This was  one of only two GN SD9s with dynamic brakes.  The other, as BN 6125, worked for years in the Pasco yard, along with ex-GN 6109 and 6116.
