Sunrise used too.

Recently got a huge lot of parts. Still going through it to see what is all in it.

Ike: You outbid me on those! I spit in your general direction!

Yes Sunrise made them and they were GREAT! They also made the 5 light packages for the GP-9s as well...all gone now. Otherwise, Detail Associates also made them (Large Switcher Headlights p/n 8209). It's not as nice as Sunrises was but it can still be found.

Sunrise p/n was N630 and looked like this:

Ike: BTW, I'll take all you have as well as any GP9 Headlight Cluster Assemblies (not sure of the p/n) you have.

I was concerned when I got down to my last 2 pckg of Sunrise GP light clusters but then I found Wuttermelon had created them at Shapeways and he has both versions of the UDE. Check out his store as he has most of the SP light packages including one with lights blanked out.

Thanks Jerry for the plug, I can design some of these SP Barrel lights up for Shapeways if you guys are interested.

I will just need some basic measurements like the diameter of the barrel itself and the overall height of the part including the brackets to get started.

Minatures by Eric also does a nice casting of the SP clusters.  But the Barrel is sorely missed.

I honestly thought that lot would go for a lot more than it did. I'll have to go through them and sort them out.

I expected to make it back to increase my bid...oops. My bad (and your gain).

Here's a page about gyrolights and it has some info about the Mars lights, but I couldn't find the one in question. I've put out some feelers and should have some info (hopefully) soon.

Here's a couple of shots of some N scale SP SD7's with Alvin's (Wutter) SP light show details installed:

I bought some of those old Details West barrel light castings, and they'll go on a couple of SD7'. If Wutter makes some, I'll get them too, he's that good!

ArKayPee,
Are the wings on your bloody nose model decals or painted?
What color and brand of paint did you use on the ends?

Hi ArKayPee,

Wonderful job. But, just an FYI - SP 1442 had the "barrel" signal light.
