Sounds promising!  Now what will I do with the half a dozen of the old ones I bought at a fire-sale price few years back? Hopefully MRC will be selling spare parts for the new models do do some creative retrofitting.

In the photo you can see the contact tab behind the tender sideframes. Makes me wonder why they didn't first do this with the 2-8-2's?

Very cool! I would especially like to be able to purchase the all-wheel pickup tenders, w/DCC and sound, so I'd no longer have to graft LL tender shells onto Bachman slopeback frames and then stuff them full of electronics. More appropriate sideframes, too. Not too excited about the MRC decoders though...maybe they'll get it right this time?

So when are they going to offer a more modern Ten Wheeler similar to their 4-4-0 and 2-6-0?  Would be great if one of these were offered as well!!!

Nice..  Looks like they FINALLY get it. 

Archbar, all-wheel, axle-point-pickup tendert trucks!  Those would be perfect for my 0-6-0 project.  Unfortunately,
the Rules Committee (me), says I cannot use them; I have to make my own.

It also looks to me like that boiler shell is not made from the same hard-as-Kryptonite metal that the old MP shells were made of.
I would welcome that.  That metal was so hard it was just a nuisance to use for kitbashing.

Ah, yes, but a little styrene goes a lot way toward a simple, short Belpaire firebox.
