My youngest son purchased a Kato F40PH in the Metrolink scheme. The TCS decoder arrived earlier this week and after daily requests "Dad, did you install the decoder yet in my Metrolink?!", I finally went to work on it last night. Since I had it open and it has ditch lights and a red light, I decided to use some small TCS LEDs to light them up independently. This morning before he left for school, my son ran to the layout room like it was Christmas morning and played with it for 10 minutes. That's a good way to start your Friday if you're a 9 year old!BTW, this was the first time I have installed function lighting. Up to now, I had installed decoders. Now I am looking at the lights of all my other units and they need upgrading!

Glad to see another convert to the crazed-LED-converts sect! Nice! When I finish any of my LED installs I still feel like a 9-year-old on Christmas! And I'm over 50!
