LOL, new here much.Jason
They were paired with non-dynamic SD38 units here.
I think next time I'll just post my wish and then lock the topic, and let everyone else do their own thing in their own topic... The schizophrenic free for all was not what I was hoping for.
Heh. I always thought the MT4s were always just paired to the GPs, and the MT6s were with the SD38s.But your comment got me looking, and bam: http://conrailphotos.thecrhs.org/Images/CR-1023-9-1980I was much more used to this: http://conrailphotos.thecrhs.org/Images/CR-7267-and-CR-1005-at-Morrisville-PAI had no idea. Ya learn something new every day.
Never saw MT6s at Oak Island (Newark) back then (circa 1980). Only two pair of SD38/MT4 combos working the hump.
Interesting! Did Oak Island have a hump back then?
Is it non-operational now? The yard and the hump and the hump-yard tower are still there, as you can see them from the NJ Turnpike and US-1&9 and the elevated Doremus Avenue. Yes, big-time back in the 1980s and 1990s, always active 24/7.
