Some additions to my N Scale storage and warehouse details:
Pallets with boxes and bags, bags can be cement, coffee, beans, flour, sugar etc

Electric pallet jacks

Cantilever racks for storing long (and heavy) items in my contractor's yard, but would also fit in a lumber yard, metal shop etc

I haven't had much time to make some new things, but now I'm catching up!

Woodshop equipment:

Spherical tank (or Horton sphere as they are known)

Modern industrial chimney:

Flare stack (now to find a good way to produce a flame...):

An exhaust gas scrubber that can be connected to the chimney:

And because my kids would find this one cool, a bouncing castle:

Waste containers:

Erik,
Sweet stuff!! Love the oil/liquid stuff,,,since the traincat stuff is not around.

Your elevated piping will be great with this new stuff.
Just need to get funds to make a large transload facility.

Could use the platform for any tank car serviced industry.

So many ideas,,,so little time,,,so little money!!

Thanks, I hear ya'! I've got the same problem. I make so many parts I don't get around to building the actual industry.... It's only half finished. The past 2 months of heat waves combined with the location of my hobby room on the top floor didn't make for ideal hobbying weather...

Hi all,
I made a few new things. First off is a very detailed bridge girder with loads of tiny rivets. It took some experimentation to see how small I could have the rivets printed. The only drawback is that the rivets make the print file really big (lots of polygons), so I can only print one girder at a time.

...

Erik

Erik,
Does that girder have full rivet detail on BOTH sides?   It looks fantastic.  I am thinking it could be a nice upgrade to the venerable Atlas girder deck bridge (slice off the sides and replace them with these).

Yep, it has the rivets on both sides, but not on the bottom.

Rivets that small could be drawn as cylinders as the printing process will have some rounding effect.  That would significantly reduce the file size.

I have since found that out. Initially I didn't understand why the file was so big. I prefer true round head rivets, but with loads of rivets other shapes like cylinders or something like a dodecahedron work fine.
I'm working on a boiler front now by the way.

Ordered several items from your store.  Thanks for posting, I wouldn't have made my first Shapeways order without seeing some of your stuff and you being on TRW.

Let's see how this goes!!

That's the right answer!  Two sold!  Thanks.
