Interesting to see they transitioned to blister packs for the trucks and not the hard cases like the others have been.  Wonder what drove that change?  Photos on MBK show the new packaging.

Cheers,
Brian

Yes, that's kind of disappointing to see/hear.  With the fragile nature of mirrors and such, it would be nice to have the hard case to store them in when not on a layout ie modular guys etc.

So the trailers are an anywhere in the USA item, but the tractor cabs are I15 only? Hmmmm.

Trying to decide if these are worth adding to the Idaho Belt, either as loads or as street details for a scene.

I would venture a guess that it was a cost-cutting measure.  Also, it would be a waste of a large jewel box for a single tractor (without a trailer). Now if they sold them in 2-packs it would make sense to pack the pair in a jewel box.

How many people are going to realize this situation ?  If anyone says anything, UPS decided to expand upon their testing area.  I say buy them, buy them now !   :D

Carter and Daniel are probably the only 2 people in the entire TRW membership who would even notice this type of a discrepancy.  I wouldn't worry about it.  :)

You can always use the T800s as stand-ins for the UPS Kenworth T680s.  Those are far more common than the T800s, and I believe they are used throughout the UPS system.   :)

Well, here they were, there they go. We hardly knew ya. Cyonara from MBK already.  Guess everyone was buying their max of 4 per road number.

At least chances seem pretty good that these will probably be run again.

A nod to bricks & mortar stores?  Because I hardly see that packaging as a bennie for eStores.

I believe when I looked this morning there was one number sold out and the rest had 20+ available.  I double checked my preorder and decided I was good.

Yea, the first Rd # was sold out last night.  I got an order confirmation this AM from BLW, so hoping I am good, as long as the UPS driver doesn't look in the box. 😊

I only have tractors ordered.  I didn't get notice from them that they shipped yet, maybe getting the trailers packed and sent out first since they are already sold out and tractors are still showing in stock/reserve.
