I was really hoping for some PC geeps, but I'll take the S2. The question is, did they update the sound to make it sounds like it's on its last legs?

Are the 40' reefers good-enough to pass as wooden FGEs?

12 Gold Bricks? No wonder that laptop is slow. Probably heavy too.  :D

Plenty of Seaboard System ("SBD") goodies in there, and I may even spring for a Seaboard Coast Line ("SCL") GP40, because that scheme was still around, believe it or not, when the SBD was formed.  Some of those black and yellow SCL locomotive schemes even made it to CSX.  Thanks, Atlas!

I also spotted an S-2 in Seaboard Air Line ("SAL") paint.  I don't need it, but the paint scheme is just too cool.  The heritage fleet is growing.

Ehh, not much. Looks like I'll have more $$ to give some other mfgs. Maybe a Wabash or GN GP-7 but not much. And we're back to the 7' door PS-1's ? I was really, REALLY hoping we might see an N scale U30 or 33B.

That's fine, but I'll see your U30B/U33B and raise you a U36B, decorated for SCL Bicentennial Unit #1776:

(I figure, if I keep saying it, Atlas might eventually produce it.)  :) :) :)

I wish they would make a re-run of the Alco RS-11 in BN green. I guess I will have to wait until 2021...  :(

IMHO the best part is the designation of "Alternate History Paint scheme" on the foobies. Sort of cuts out the "they should have know better debate."

I have a ten year old (at least) computer, second hand from work, with 512MB of memory, and the PDFs weren't intolerably slow.  The whole system is slow. mind you, but the PDFs weren't any slower than anything else.  Were you using Acrobat, or the Acrobat Viewer?  The Viewer might be quicker, since all it does is read and display the files.

My main computer is in the shop, and I think I'll have some extra RAM put in this one when I get the main one back.  Until five years ago this was a production computer for a bank data processing company.  Now it's barely suitable for web browsing.  Programs just keep getting bigger...
