Peteski--A few of the Noch Ladies of the Night found their way to my layout.  Hanging out at the Motel....

A few more at the Dance Arts establishment.....

I'm not going to start a discussion of modeling pubic hair depending on your era.
Because Ed's Law is a very real thing.
Josh Surkosky

Here's a Clerihew about Ed. K.

Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
But mention his law
and you've pulled your last straw!

Alternate version:
Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
He asks excitedly "Did you say Ménage à Trois?"
No, I said "Ed's Law."

Really enjoying your updates!  Your scenes are really stunning. Where did you get the propane tanks?

Now that is funny!  But either way, it is an easy repaint job.

Roger: nice job capturing the night life around the motel and the Boobie Hatch!

BTW Josh, yes, they do interlock!  ;)

thanks for the comments,
I'm improving steadily, simply from being inspired by all the work featured in the layout section here!
The propane tank and one-piece 'junkpile' pictured in the photo are soft white metal castings from Woodland Scenics; they were/are provided in a couple of their 'gold label' structure kits, and are also included in their factory and town building kit.
at first blush they don't seem to be very detailed and are pretty rough, but a little careful filing and sanding reveal some very useful details, once primed and painted.

Changing 'history' so that it is no longer 'politically incorrect' is still changing history. Just like those who want to pretend that the Holocaust never happened doesn't mean that something didn't happen. Sometimes people need to be reminded about how things were so they can see that things HAVE changed for the better.

BTW Josh, yes, they do interlock!  ;)

I've seen these sets before but I never realized they 'interlocked' , I just figured they assumed the position everyone does with Ken and Barbie  :o

You guys are noticing details on the Noch figures that my "old" eyes missed :o  BTW that's a limited edition Downtown Deco kit.  Surprised no one has asked if Homer Simpson was inside based on the beer delivery truck.
Best regards,

Roger

Who cares who is inside, it looks like there is a lot of action outside. Reminds of downtown Philly around Spruce and Pine and 10th streets.  :o Peep show right on the corner.  :scared:

The backdrop and facia are painted and installed, the background buildings installed.... a update has been posted in the Layout Engineering thread....

Model railroading isn't saving my life, but it's providing me moments of joy not normally associated with my current situation..... Train are good!

Wow @John you got a lot more than me, despite being 20 minutes away.  The deepest drifts were only about 2' here.
