Ummm, do you have a link or a site? When I google Atlas N parts, I see everything but no S2.... Am I just dense?Otto K.
I haven't yet tested it for pulling power, but it weighs in at a respectable 2.1oz./62 grams (compared to the well respected KATO NW2 with 1.8 oz/52 grams).Otto K.
Well, I might have to wait for my undecs, but I broke down and ordered a -dec; UP to be precise. It arrived today and I must say, I am very impressed with this Atlas baby. The light color scheme brings out the excellent details, the thin railings look very good, and the thing runs and sounds good straight out of the box. Well, It could generate a bit more rumble, the startup is a bit tinny, but it growls a little better upon acceleration. Maybe some speaker/enclosure tweaking, a la' John Colombo is in order...I haven't yet tested it for pulling power, but it weighs in at a respectable 2.1oz./62 grams (compared to the well respected KATO NW2 with 1.8 oz/52 grams) so I suspect it will do okay for light switching duty I need it for.Overall, I'm pleased. Frankly, I think we never had it this good Otto K.
So if a fellow didn't want to wait for Erie. And since the undecs are sold out. Are the decorated models glued together?
