LOL. I'm thinking about buying it. How are the decals? He has some others I'm interested in. And what car are you going to use?

I bought the three tank car sets and finished the Ford cars using a Bachmann 10,000 gallon car remounted on an intermountain frame. The decals worked excellent !!
The second set I used 2 intermountain 8000 gallon cars for the Philadelphia Quartz car, again the decals were wonderful !
The third set will be two Bachmann 10,000 gallon cars painted silver and lettered for A&P.

For the Hershey car I was planning to use the Micro Trains car but I think the Atlas car is very good too. I have painted a few atlas cars in the past using the old Micro Scale set. I made two of the Red Top milk cars and was happy with the way they turned out.

Are these the decals that have flooded eBay listings? How are they printed? What do they look like on the sheet??

I'm also curious as to the source and quality of these decals.  This is the 1st I have heard of them.

Thanks @sd45elect2000  I'm going to give the decals a try. Now to find a car to put them on.  8)

I've poked around in a few listings but it only seems to be a prototype photo and offer to print in whatever scale you might need.  So I'm curious if the artwork is good, and how they are printed.  It scares me a little that there isn't a photo of the actual product.  I'll wait for some first hand feed back.

I can take some crappy pictures when I get home if that will do? I thought they were excellent decals. I think they are printed with a good quality printer and good materials. They are not screen printed like microscale so you have to cut them out as close as possible . I really liked the results on my 4 cars.

Is the Hershey's car lettering silver?  If yes, they might be printed on Alps printer.

At some point I was contemplating drawing and printing those myself. It is one of those hundred projects I will probably never get to.  :)

The lettering is white and very crisp. Please excuse crappy pictures.

I assume that the Hershey car is chocolate brown?

They do look pretty good.  Are the Hershey's ones are also white?  Can  you give the name of the eBay seller?

BTW, you can post full size photos instead of clickable thumbnails (which makes them easier to view in full glory). When you attach images, to the right of the field where you browse to the path of the picture pull down the options and select Inline full-size image instead of the silly default of End-of-post expandable thumbnail.  That way the photos will how up full-size in your posts.

I asked  :tommann: to make the Inline full-size image the default selection but that probably won't happen.  I just think it is silly to have to click on the thumbnails for a full-size photo when there really isn't a good reason to do it that way.

Leaving aside the matter of the decal quality, do we know if the car actually has ice bunkers, or is it more like a milk reefer?
I can't tell from the picture.

I'm sorry Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that.
