Well here we are a few weeks later. Stripped, dipped, plastic adhesion promoter, paint white, masked, white again, then colour. The plastic adhesion promoter worked well. I had zero issues removing the masking tape. I even got Scott L's model in there as well this time as an added bonus. Thanks for the tips everyone. CraigThose locos have come out looking very snazzy, well done. Not sure if it has been mentioned however to make sure you obtain a nice crisp edge to your stripes after you lay down your first colour and add your masking tape the tape should be burnished down then the shell given another very light spray of the original colour along the edges of the masking tape. Then the next colour is applied. This stops any paint bleeding under the tape onto the first colour and gives a very crisp edge.Good job Graig.Rod.
