Max:
I admire your work soo much.
I really wish my father was alive to see these photos of your work.  He made grandfather clocks for a hobby from scratch, and would have loved to see your work.  Especially at such a small scale!!!  He too would figure out some mad way to make the teeth and the release mechanisms from scratch.
Great work.
Blown away
keep it up
and thanks
Miguel

Ha!  Thanks, Chris.  You can get them here:

Thankfully, this place bought up the ScaleHardware.com collection and they are selling the parts now.

Thanks! I had to order 0.6mm bolts because the 0.5mm nuts were sold out.

The new MOAB= Mother of all Builds!   :D

Now Max knows why I have resorted to 3D modeling stuff instead of kitbashing.  No one can keep up with this genius (he said, genuflecting).

Stop it, Max.  Just stop it.  You are making my head hurt.  Seriously, though, this is great work as serves as a benchmark against which the rest of us can judge ourselves.

I have just one tiny suggestion.  Try to do something about that front coupler.  Everything else on the locomotive is so finely scaled, that the coupler just stands out.

Thank you all, most sincerely!

Photobucket was having server problems yesterday.  If you check now, the photos should all be displaying fine.

nscaleSPF2 :  About the front coupler... I do plan to wrap the exposed coupler box in thin brass to form a proper exposed box.  The box extends by the proper amount, believe it or not.  Thus has been been mentioned earlier in this thread.
As for the coupler itself, all I can say is it's a Bowser Buckler Z scale coupler, so it's already the smallest possible coupler I am aware of that works, so there's not much I can do about  it.  N Scale couplers are unfortunately oversized, even when the smallest Z coupler is used.
