@chicken that looks great. Can you pull the camera back and give us an overall shot? Is that the ezline stuff or pb wire? I wonder, did the Pennsy actually attach that sign for real?
Never argue with idiots; they'll drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience.

Damn, that sign doesn't look great at that size, the printer just didn't do a good job of it.

I think you're right, trying it on a photo printer might help.

I find that photo printers (or selecting photographic print mode on standard printers) actually print  more muted colors and with less contrast.  That is good for average photos (Scenery and people) which have mostly gradual color and brightness changes, but not for signs which have to be as sharp as possible.

My Alps printer would be ideal for printing this kind of sign.  Printed with just black ink on VPhoto film (which is actually a white plastic film)  would give the best and sharpest results. Josh - you still have my email address, right?  ;)

I can send you the PDF I used to print these. I scaled the signs all properly for him.

All right, kids! @peteski is on the job and has what he needs to make this work.

I'll post a full car money shot when the car is complete.

No, I said "Ed's Law."

@Ed Kapuscinski

Josh sent me the bitmap images but they both show up in 72 dpi resolution.  Josh mentioned that the sign is about 15mm wide. Can you confirm that ir give me the dimensions you used in the PDF?  Or let me have a copy of the PDF.  My email address is listed in my profile here.

I don''t want to print these out just to end up with incorrect size. After all I know Josh is striving for perfection!  :D

The signs are printed and on the way to Josh.  I found a well-done vector-graphic version of that logo so I used that instead of the original bit-mapped version.

PDF is attached to this post in case someone wants to print their own.

That's pretty awesome! Thanks! I'm sure @Lemosteam will want to host this file somewhere and add it to the Shapeways description!

I actually think this one is my favorite:

So the story was...
This guy in the chicken suit comes up to me and motions with hands to his neck indicating he wants me to choke him like in the movies.
I look at him and say very loudly, "No, I will NOT choke the chicken."
But then I went ahead and did it anyways because I'm an evil Sith Lord.
