What if you could somehow make modular tower kits.

I was thinkin'...  If Shapeways isn't the right route for the actual structural components for catenary, what about just offering the caps, bases, and insulators?  Then we can use our own soldered brass shapes for the poles and K bridges.

Is there a book or some other solid information on how to model all the different poles the PRR had?

I can't think of anything right now. The Keystone Modeler is GREAT, but I can't recall detailed discussions on catenary. They are focused on steam, which is understandable regarding all those nice steam locos.

@Lemosteam , I'm sure you've seen this page http://prr.railfan.net/standards/.  All sorts of goodies there, some of the signs could be useful.

Been there many times!  But all of my plans come from the books I own!

Here's a Clerihew about Ed. K.

Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
But mention his law
and you've pulled your last straw!

Alternate version:
Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
He asks excitedly "Did you say Ménage à Trois?"
No, I said "Ed's Law."
