I'm in the process of resorting and taking inventory on a bunch of "factory seconds" of original 1990s products, but we have no new-manufactured products available at the moment.

Of course, we are always open to suggestions.

hey! Find your own thread for that or I'll steal the ideas!    :D :D :D

No need to steal...  How about a PRR X23 and a couple of it's variants, an R7 which is a reefer, and an NX23 a converted cabin.

@towl1996 , not feeling those as 1- I do not have enough dimensionals, and 2- The surface finish is just not good enough IMHO.  Trying to shy away from rolling stock or locomotives unless they can be designed with little or no detail so the model can be properly smoothed.

Need some casters to step up, right @VonRyan ?

If you have some form of technical drawings of any of those, or any other rolling-stock suggestions, shoot me an email.

Stepping up is no problem ;)

I just need to finish refurbishing what will be my factory-area and I'll be ready to roll.
As is, I'm ready to start molding and casting basic stuff (meaning anything that doesn't require pressure/vacuum) as I have to get a new compressor.

I would love to see some generic 60' and 70' harriman arched roofs for swapping out on MTL heavyweights.

I have two secondary masters for original Camden & Amboy Models' Harriman roofs, I just need to resize them for the Micro-Trains heavyweights.

@VonRyan , I will ask you kindly, again, please start your own thread for C&A product ideas.  The purpose of this thread is to collect ideas for Keystone Details, as is stated in the title.

@Norway2112 , I will be designing PRR style arched roofs for MT products in the near future, particularly the Horse car.  If you have any dimensionals, drawings or images of the roofs you are referring to, please share them with me offline.

I have four sections on Keystone Details, Obviously all of the N Scale products, and HO section, and HO section, and a place for generic or non-PRR product called keystone Customs.

My apologies @Lemosteam I'll yield. Appears I'm doing a lot of that recently.
And no need for me to clog the pipes with another thread. I wouldn't want to set any unreasonable expectations of myself.

Yes, I understand. I thought that since the cars were wood and a render in the FED material might not be too rough. And I'm sure you've seen this page, http://prr.railfan.net/freight/PRRdiagrams.html?diag=x23.gif&fr=cl.  And I have a mark4 X23 model. Just makin' sure.  ;) Thanks

@towl1996 , That is something to consider.  So I'm considering... :D

No worries @VonRyan !

You might be surprised at the little bits that might be more apt to be cast rather than printed.  I have found this thread to be very inspiring to fill a pipeline of designs- so it might just work fo you too.

If you're gonna do it- commit and have faith in yourself to accomplish your goals.

Fair enough. But while you're considering...let me add a little kindling.

Here is the NX 23. Two of which lasted into the Penn Central era.

And the R7.

And there are decals out there for the X23 and it's variants. Just sayin'  :D

Are there any "major" truck styles we are missing? @Dave Vollmer @dougnelson

It would also be nice to have an accurate idler car for my wreck derrick.
Something cool like this this F24.
Josh Surkosky

Here's a Clerihew about Ed. K.

Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
But mention his law
and you've pulled your last straw!

Alternate version:
Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
He asks excitedly "Did you say Ménage à Trois?"
No, I said "Ed's Law."

What about a better representation of the Crown Truck that was used under the H21's?  Bowser's truck is really lacking in detail.  It would be even better is the bolster was recessed a good bit to lower the Bowser H21A hopper car's ride height.  Thanks.
