Not quite finished yet. Still need to add handrails and glass. This is a Shapeways FM H10-44 shell on an Atlas VO-1000 mechanism equipped with a LokSound Select Micro decoder with "sugar cube" speaker in cab.

Bill,
that is GORGEOUS!
any chance we'll see a casting? (Shapeways detail notwithstanding, your castings are superior)

Working on November Weathering Challenge

SRY 9361.  Colors are off a little bit, maybe putting a clear coat of flat will tone down a little bit.  Otherwise, I will say the artist just tagged this car yesterday.

Bill, another fan here. Next time you let me play on the Kingsbury, I want to use this switcher! :D
Also, before you add more detail, could we look under the hood to see the sound install please?

I can take original graffiti photos, clean them up and print the artwork on a decal film.  If you freehand-painted these on an N scale car, my a$$hat's off to you Sir!  That is some fine work!

They are done freehand  :D  Kind of why colors are off, have to work with the colors I found.  Using mix of Sharpies and paint pens by DecoColor, found at AC Moore.

Thanks Guys.  Yes it is s South Boulder H10-44 from Shapeways. Here's a photo of the sound install. Basically the same as John Colombo installed in the VO-1000. Not much frame milling at all and there is more room inside the FM shell.

That is the St. Josephs station along from the Emmitsburg Railway, later Western Maryland. A little history here: http://www.emmitsburg.net/archive_list/articles/history/railroad/stations_emmitsburg_railroad.htm

I think the sharpies will run with dullcoat.

+1 on the Dullcote problem.  I touched up some red trim on a wooden kit with a Sharpie, hit it later with Dullcote and the trim bled all over the white walls.
Best regards,

Roger

Thanks for the info on the dullcoat.  I will do some experiments on some scrap styrene to see if I have anything I can seal it with when I get to that point.
