Received a couple of packages this week.  Got some switches and cars from BLW including the latest MT weathered/graffiti release

20151023_195328 by Adam Henry, on Flickr

Also received order from ExactRail with new Trinity FBOX's.  They also included their advertising car with order.  I'm thinking about stripping and repainting it.  Cars are really nice, especially when comparing to the advertising car.  Metal wheelsets and body mounted couplers on new ones.

Wait, the FBOX cars are out already? Woah, no year long wait for new product? WTH?

He asks excitedly "Did you say Ménage à Trois?"
No, I said "Ed's Law."

ExactRail has been pretty good and announcing products when the product is on a ship on its way over. Only one they did an early announcement for was the 64' reefers that BLMA also announced.

I made a crappy video of my layout with my crappy sickly voice for narration.  :scared:

So, if I get this right, you built an N scale model out of steel, painted it, scraped the paint here and there, put in some crushed real coal, and left it out in the rain for the last 10 years?

If I didn't know better, I would think you had photoshopped the couplers into a photo of a prototype car.  Really nice work.

I have a mind like a steel trap...a VERY rusty, old steel trap.

@basementcalling ,  N Scale items are all still showing as in stock, so plenty left there.  Cars were announced on their facebook page on Oct 15th, new image logo HO car sold out in 4 days.  As of today, only 1 number is available in HO for other scheme released.  All others sold out.

Nice work Jim - I love illuminated night scenes!
And of course, the works of others in this thread is also superb (as it usually is on the Weekend Update threads).
