Hello all,

Sorry for the delay in getting more info out to the group.
I don't want people to miss out, so the third run sale will begin at 3:00 PM PDT on Friday November 6, 2015.

There will be 60 kits for sale on eBay at $45.95 a kit plus shipping.
Shipping will be boxed USPS priority mail, like last time.
$6.95 for the first item, and $1 for each additional kit.

When I post the listing, I'll send a link (unless someone else beats me to it!)

The current order of 27 cars have shipped via Priority Mail at the Saint Paul airport post office.


Any orders placed after about 9:00 PM today will ship after I return on Tuesday evening.

Will be interesting to see what you do next... just hate to have to wait for a while to hear what it might be.

Am surprised these haven't sold out as quick as the first two runs did... but at least some folks will finally have a chance to get some.

Hello everyone,

I am back in town and packing the most recent orders that I came in after I took the last ones to the airport USPS on Sunday morning.
There are still 18 kits left for sale.   

As far as the next project that is closest to being ready (we have a bunch of things on the go at different stages of completion). . .
I can't confirm exactly what it will be yet, but I can say that one way or the other, I'm guessing that I'll probably the one that needs more time to complete the decal design. :D  Given current workload and various "honey-do's" at home, my timing guess is that it will be no earlier than next spring.

And I think that Geoff's slab side kits are great. Already have three or four and definitely want some more!
Early covered hopper designs are fascinating to me. I have several on the go as personal projects, including a USRA rebuild done by NYC owned by CASO, and the CNR/NYC design similar to the Kato car (but not quite the same!)

So much to do, so little time. But all good fun!

I am looking forward to getting the one I ordered.  A while back, I also purchased some of the GHQ kits for 8 hatch CN reefers and am finishing those as express reefers in the 1954 passenger scheme.  Those are excellent kits, and expecting the R50b will be to the same standard.

Got my kit in the mail this afternoon; looks good at a quick glance.  Won't have time to work on it before I head to Milwaukee for Trainfest tomorrow.  It will have to wait until the next show to join the rest of my mail train behind my new Bachmann K4.  Looking forward to working on it.

In the painting guide, there are columns showing red, silver, and fawn (white), but in my browser the column headings got chopped out.  Can someone explain what would have been painted these colors??  The Tuscan, green, and black are obvious from the pictures.
