And now a word from the West Coast:

A toolcar for your UP excursion train.

A reworked ConCor Greenville car, various MS decals, and some weird trucks I had laying around....now KATO will produce this.  :RUEffinKiddingMe:

And the word is AWESOME. I need to scrounge my junk box for one of those bodies. Someone else I saw somewhere else (CRS Symdrome symptom) posted a tool car using the Athearn 60 foot boxcar model as a starting point.

Nicely played, sir.

As for the trucks: I believe they are from Intermountain GPEX milk reefers. The GPEX model pictures online show trucks the same, it seems. You'll have to shim up the bolsters/truck center to get the trucks to clear the underside, and install body mount couplers.
Good thing about this car is there are tons of photos of it online. Only I forgot to put in the two small screened openings on one side of the car.

Thanks for the info on the trucks. If I can get a car, maybe I can ask Intermountain for a pair of trucks.
Again, really nice work and thank you for sharing how you built it.
