Hello Bryan,

Rode that stretch of track-age thru Bridgeport, CT, past Jenkins Valves on my way to NYC so many times that I've lost count! One question...are you going to model the NH style catenary and if yes then will it be with folded & soldered etched metal and will it be offered for mass consumption by other NH n-scale modellers? This one single but critical detail item has been missing from our n-scale arsenal.for too long.

Yes, I am going to model the catenary and Jenkins Curve.  Yes, the catenary will be etched metal, either brass or stainless steel, haven't decided which as of yet.  The stainless would be more durable by far, but it would be hellish both on pantograph pick-up shoes and errant hands that might get nicked while cleaning or clearing tracks.  In all likelihood the parts won't be an ESM item for a number of reasons, one of them being that I don't necessarily want to have to design the towers to 100% accuracy of the prototype.  I'm willing to get the essence of the prototype, albeit a strong one, as Model Memories has done in HO.  All of their etched product is in brass, so that's probably what I will do as well.

If Bob at TrainCat ever resumes his business ... he was working on an N scale New Haven catenary product line.  I don't know how far along he was, or if it ever will come to fruition.  But he's the best bet at seeing such a product come to market.  I suspect it won't even be taken under consideration my other manufacturers until some New Haven electrics first reach the market (if ever).
