Road name winners for the first run autorack are - CB&Q, IC, N&W, NYC, Frisco, and Wabash.

I'm in for a Wabash for sure, but probably won't get more until I see how high they ride.

New PS-1 Plug doors too.

Those IC racks do look perty - even if they are too old for my era.

Those do look nice. Looking forward to later roadnames and schemes. Also the ESMC sides.

What years is that N&W car good for?

I keep telling myself to swear-off rolling stock purchases until I get some track down, but these are too gorgeous to pass up. Maybe one of each?

The Burlingtons's could easily be changed to almost any other road. Strip or replace the placard and good to go if you're not watching road numbers.

I remember seeing both the ATSF 'Shock Control' and Union Pacific "Automated Rail Way" cars in Los Angeles back when I was young but they are both wrong era and wrong coast for my modeling interest.  Should prove to be good cars so I am glad for folks who can use them!!!

It looks like it'll take Athearn 11 months to get them to market (August, 2016). Sounds slow to me.

Hmm... not slower than
Kiz is...

Two scientists create a teleportation ray, and they try it out on a cricket. They put the cricket on one of the two teleportation pads in the room, and they turn the ray on.
The cricket jumps across the room onto the other pad.

Brian:  I assume you have a copy of the Morning Sun Books "CB&Q Color Guide to Freight and Passenger Equipment"?  Look at the bottom picture on page 93.  I wonder if anyone will ever do that car?

**********

For non-CB&Q modelers, it's a CB&Q rack, which almost has to have been painted before 3-70, on a yellow KTTX flat, which had to have been painted in or after 1970.  If the rack had been painted in or after 3-70 it would probably have been BN green, and almost certainly had a BN herald.  TTX didn't start using the yellow paint until sometime in 1970.

Did TTX repaint the flats without removing the racks?
