Kato just put up official pre-productions photos of the ACS-64.  Woo hoo!  Looks good.

looks very much like the prototype to me, and they say upfront they went to AMTRAK and Siemens to get design help - so probably more prototype then not.

My concern is they come with Amfleet cars no one has seen yet - which may end up outselling the loco given the thirst for Amfleets out there.

I'm just glad they found another use for the Bright Red Plastic.  I mean, just how many horns can you make.   ;)

LOL. If only other model RR manufacturers were like Kato, (have the same mentality and quality when it comes to design and manufacturing) then there would be much more Kool Aid to go around for them all.  :trollface:  Kato is not perfect but pretty damn close. Closer than other manufacturers (except maybe Fleischmann). At least IMO.

My initial comment was semi-in-jest anyways.  :P
