I like the tea - MBTA idea. That is the first thing people think about Boston. I seriously doubt this thought because:
1. They would have released the cars a Amfleet Horizons first.
2. Both the engines (F40PH) and the cars (Comet II) are used by NJT, which has much higher visibility.
3. The cars would also be better released as Metro-North to go with their P42.

Now if they did a Kawasaki or Hyundai bi-level? Lord help me.

SDP40F makes sense, it's the missing link in their Amtrak roster, hopefully, it sells well, and Kato proceeds to produce the F45 and FP45.

I had an Athearn F45, wasn't impressed.

But if Kato decides to do the SDP45, that'd be cool.

If they do the SDP40F, its almost warrantee that they will do a FP45. All those late Chief and Cap need something to pull them plus KATO loves the warbonnet.

All I have to do is to change the position of the white Amtrak lettering above the doors of the El Capitan cars. (Kato has them wrongly centered, but not right above the doors. Anybody know what decals I should use?)
