@Cajonpassfan Here's some better photos of the MBE Hollywood NT-K4 kit...which is OOP. The kit only contains the resin shell and the qty=2 cast brass, trolley pole hold down detail parts that mount on the roof. I've been attempting plan A.) adapt a Tomytec power chassis to fit inside the resin shell or plan B.) trying to scratch/bash a floor out of styrene with cut outs for the Tomytec trucks

Lol, I get it. My dad used to ride the Hollywood Cars, Blimps and the 100's (double truck Briney safety cars). He says that the Hollywood Cars rode the best and had thick, plush fabric seats.

I spent Father’s Day working on my N Scale models of 1449 and a 1100 Class. I got my Tomyec chassis from Plaza Japan yesterday, and my daughters had fun trying to figure out the Japanese newspaper….I have not attached any part that needs to be black.

The shapeways ones are definitely cheaper. I’d be worried about both durability and looks.

I shot the cars today and now need to paint the orange stripe above the windows on the 1100, then decal them. I know that the box motor will be Pacific Electric 1449, but I have no idea of what number to use on the 1100.

I am getting closer to finish up the Pacific Electric 1124 (I chose that number since they all were all together on the decal sheet). I still need paint and install the lights and get/paint/install the poles.



I put a Los Angeles letter board and destination sign on one end and a Long Beach letter board and destination sign on the other end. Yes, I  know that the 1100’s never ran to Long Beach, but see Rule #1 of model railroading….

I just received a shipment from Canada, a pair of brand new Miniatures by Eric Pacific Electric cars. I now have a Portland 12 interurban and a Hollywood Car suburban…looks like Plaza Japan is going to be getting another order from me.
