Are these a different prototype from similar 2 bay shortie coal hoppers from Atlas, Bachmann and MT or just different roads?

Like the Bachmann models they are earlier prototypes and I am very psyched about them.  The Virgiinian, one of my freelanced lines primary connections, had a lot of this type of hopper so it will be one I will be buying (as money comes available).  Have been looking at what I could do to the Bachmann model to bring it closer to what it should be like detail wise but now that Bluford is doing them I won't have to do much, if anything, to have reasonably accurate representations!!!  That, to me, is a very welcome thing!!!

I know VGN had similar cars to the USRA but I think they are longer, will have to dig that info up when I get a chance.

Dee:  Haven't seen fudge with termites, but I have seen a few stores selling chocolate-covered ants.  Given that most ants I've met didn't smell too appetizing, I've never tried them.  Are termites better than ants for snacking?

Hmm... termites are much
better. Western lowland
gorillas eat ants, but I
don't like 'em...

Two scientists create a teleportation ray, and they try it out on a cricket. They put the cricket on one of the two teleportation pads in the room, and they turn the ray on.
The cricket jumps across the room onto the other pad.

Is there a (publicly accessible) roster of railroads that had these?  Obviously something that is "pretty close" for a great many roads, even when it is not "right on."  I do wish they weren't so pricey, but I say that about almost every new release.

While looking for roster info, came upon this that might be of interest to NYC System fans- https://nycshs.files.wordpress.com/2014/07/usranycshoppers.pdf (the NYC System HS seems to be a very generous group, they have lots of interesting articles online)

Hopefully, I'll be in for 6ea of the CCC&StL and L&N.

However, I am going to wait and see if Craig backs off of the dayglow orange they used to cast/decorate the "as delivered" NYC offset side 3-bays I picked up a couple years ago.

I still can't bring myself to run them....  :(

Not sure about the facepalm... the ribs look too shallow on the Bachmann car so another, better version will be welcome.  Bluford will certainly run more paint schemes!

And probably easier to body mount couplers on....
