+1M The F89F auto rack is a must have.  What would be sweet is the flat and early racks by several (rack, not model) manufacturers.
Failing to prepare is preparing to fail.

Would the racks be practical for 3D printing?  If so, that would be one way to get a variety of them.  One could use a mass-produced flat, including those already available, and then buy whatever rack is wanted for it, just like the prototype.

For "which racks", I was responding to Sirenwerks suggestion of autoracks from multiple prototype builders.  We have flatcars to put them on, from multiple sources, we just need the racks.

Not quite.... some low level flats or the suggested F98F would be awesome.

Oh yes, more flats would always be welcome, but we do have enough now to make autoracks a viable product.

It's pretty much just the Trainworx 85' flat isn't it?

I don't know what happened in the 70's but the 1969 ORER shows none of the Micro-trains flats ((Ash10a) with racks or the BLMA car (F89J), but they were both pretty new at that point.

If people wanted to startlooking for autoracks in the 47XXXX range we could see if any or F85b's like the trainworx car.

Here's one.

And another (that looks like it was de-racked by '66)

Hmmm...getting an Atlas O VO-1000 would be tempting.  @Atlas Paul , will this be 2 rail in the Master Line?

We just finalized the deal, so until we have a chance to look at how everything is constructed and what might need to be modified, I can't say for sure what line it will fall into.

And this may be on a F89J (the BLMA model): https://flic.kr/p/dLWrwB

Here's an SP car, a Harsche-Rotman rack on a Thrall car of unknown design in 1961:

But the Athearn HO model is based on a channel-side 89' car - hence the F89 designation. That particular car is available from NSK and there was an article in NSM or NSR about how to kitbash it from a MTL car too.

That's not the same as the TW flat car, but would be a good tri-level rack to have.

One car that would be a good project for anyone modeling auto traffic in the 60's would be one of the Frisco cars.

No channel side or low deck.  A pretty straight forward built once you have a deck you like.

Yeah, an F85A would be another good choice - long era and a unique body style that stands out amongst a sea of flush decks.

On first glance the number series doesn't seem right, but I can check after work if you'd like?

It certainly seems very close in appearance:

No, that's an F89C, a low deck flat like this one:
