HA HA HA!  Made me laugh.
Seriously, I think it's because photos and video of the actual engine have been posted, so there's no more arguing over what it looks like or what it runs like.

Hope they all run like that and very few problems are reported.  *cross fingers*

I read a post on the K4 (don't know where) that this engine does NOT have traction tires.
Is that true? does anybody know?
The add in the MR does not specify TT.

I didn't see any traction tires. That isn't necessarily a bad thing though....

That'd be a plus for me - I hate traction tires.

On the previous page:

I went to the Bachmann booth today as well.  I asked the Bachmann rep if I could run the K4 so I could scrutenize how well it ran and creeped.  He let me.
...
It has no traction tires, by the way.

Fortunately the MTL heavyweights are free-rolling and light.  My B60b has FVM wheels too.  So hopefully I shouldn't have to worry too terribly much about pulling power.

I could always pick up a second on the Favorite Spot or MU it with my brass K4!
