Hmm... the Weekend Update's
date is wrong...

Two scientists create a teleportation ray, and they try it out on a cricket. They put the cricket on one of the two teleportation pads in the room, and they turn the ray on.
The cricket jumps across the room onto the other pad.
"It works! It works!"

Judging by the looks of the track, this looks to be European location.  Maybe that is an electric switch machine with a hand-throw thrown in for good measure. :-)

A C&O baby triple hopper is almost born.  I still need to glue the four sections together, plus a few other things.

The way the baseplate is fastened to the tie using screws is common in Europe.  In U.S. the baseplate/rail is usually fastened using spikes.  That is why I mentioned Europe.  But maybe U.S. railroads also adopted more modern rail fastening methods.

If you look at the tie to the far left, it's got spikes.

Hmm... Kiz nailed it...

"NS" can also be the Netherlands Railways:  Nederlandse Spoorwegen

No, they do not use the same logo.

Also, Most of europe uses either concrete or composite ties, with some wood on the minor lines...

Or at least most of the places I was.....

Here's a Clerihew about Ed. K.

Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
But mention his law
and you've pulled your last straw!

Alternate version:
Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
He asks excitedly "Did you say Ménage à Trois?"
No, I said "Ed's Law."

Geez @chicken45 did you hire A fairy to do your decals? That's a great job in a small space!
