Atlas is offering the N Scale VO-1000 in P&WV paint, thank you Atlas.

I'd love to see them do the #30 in the 1958 repainted version???

Pretty sure the VO-1000 has been out for quite some time.

Perhaps you meant "New N Scale Locomotive Paint Scheme from Atlas".   :RUEffinKiddingMe:

Yeah, new colors for an old loco. But one of the new offerings is C&NW, so all is good.  :D

Wasn't Atlas supposed to be releasing an SD70ACE in UP colors?

Well, she's not a C425, but have some good retooling in:

  • Now with NCE Decoders!
  • Step guards and exhaust stacks as appropriate per railroad
  • Blackened metal wheels
  • Slower speed motor for closer to scale speeds
Note: You cannot convert these locomotives to Rapido couplers!!

Only the decoder is new. The rest has been there since 2002.

Aw, you went and got my hopes up Atlas was releasing an AS616. VO, schmeeoo; new schemes aren't new models.
Failing to prepare is preparing to fail.

I was happy to see that they are releasing a new SP VO, until I realized that it was a paint scheme that was dropped before WWII ended

Hey Jason,

I think I've figured out your Wheel of Fortune puzzle in your signature area.

I get "Party Crasher"

Hmm... If I could spell,
I probably could have
solved it too...

Two scientists create a teleportation ray, and they try it out on a cricket. They put the cricket on one of the two teleportation pads in the room, and they turn the ray on.
The cricket jumps across the room onto the other pad.
"It works! It works!"

Nope, what fun would that be.  Hint: There's only one 'R'.
