...but the the "Indian" car I want and need is the original 24 duplex roomette, with its unique staggered windows.
:|Yes I know it's Amquack (trac) :|Nate Goodman (Nato). It was originally to be RAIL PAX. Try that on for size.
Yes, it was "Railpax", one word, with an "X". And I've seen a lot of "Amtrack", including numerous news articles, over the years, so it isn't an uncommon (mis)spelling.
Good point Jerry, and I have a bunch of Roberto's (and Union Station) kits, in various stages of completion. But, it's hard to compete with Kato crispness and quality and close to impossible to match the finishes, especially on stainless cars (see my "Indian" effort below). I would also love to buy a few "Pine" cars, but apparently they will only come as an add-on set paired with a rebuilt, 11 bedroom post '64 "Indian".Looks like I will have some rebuilt "Indians" for sale... Kind regards, Otto K.
... Since Kato is actually releasing this car, I'm hoping that it will be available in actual Santa Fe livery at some poinr.Bruce
The two-car set will be in ATSF livery.
Bruce, the rebuilt Indian may be a bit too new for you...? If not, I'll have at least a couple for sale Otto
Kato 15 car Orient Express set made for German market. Now that's some new tooling. (Attachment Link)
