Maybe I'll do up a MOW Pullman I have. What color would a Baconrail MOW tool car be?

Wieners are NOT bacon.

They both come from the same animal, except wieners are made from lips and a$$holes.  :D

Model railroading isn't saving my life, but it's providing me moments of joy not normally associated with my current situation..... Train are good!

I thought "DP" stood for something else.

Given that these mostly get applied to white or silver cars, if someone published the artwork I think it would be easy enough to print these on a color laserprinter (no need for an Alps).

I'm sorry Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that.

I feel that we need to find a way to contact DKS and make sure it's ok to reproduce these, since it was his design to begin with.

Caboose red and some fatty cream color make this business car crackle and pop!

I just feel like he needs to be aware that their is a possibility that they are going to be reproduced, and give him the chance to put his opinion forth.

It  would have been interesting if the red bands were wavering across the sides of the car to mimic the logo. It  would be artsy like the Canadian grain cars or other detailed modern paint schemes.

I did think about doing something like that, better marbling, but for my tastes, it would have been over the top. It would look awesome, but I was going for something more subtle and realistic. I didn't want this to be a flat out novelty car. At quick glance, you would see this car at the end of another train and say, oh, it's a business car...with a Baconrail decal? Cool and OMG it's painted like a bacon strip, instead of OMG LOOK BACON. I like to draw them in with a story.
