Here are the long-awaited SW8 "pup" pieces, hope you enjoy! I'll update the images when they render.

This is a pair of SW8 pup conversion kits, as used by the Lehigh Valley. Info is here. This will require a 36" cap top fan from an atlas SD7 or SD9 model to complete. Simply splice the part into the SW8 hood, reassemble, and you're ready for paint.

Ooh, have you thought about doing Flexicoils to replace the HTCs on Kato SD40-2s and Atlas SD50s? Those are musts for CR modelers. I've modified mine by hand, but I'd probably upgrade to more accurate trucks if they were available.

Sure, I know the axle spacing would still be off, but close is better than nothing.

Ah, direct swap? This is a signature item for N&W, all of their SD40-2s had triple clasp trucks. Gotta order these this weekend.
