Very, very nice. Not something I would ever run in my view of the world, but it's still a really nice model. Raising the bar, for sure.

Hey, Pud... Jason is clearly interested in producing oddballs. Can we convince him, maybe, to do an RS27? Please? :D

They do... The detailing and paint look great.. The only thing that stood out was the number. The number is slightly thin compared to photos.. or maybe the font is just a bit off.

EDIT: In looking at it more, the "0"s are oval, and should be round.. and I think that's (mostly) whats throwing me off.





Can't wait for the Amtrak Phase 3!!!

Sadly, I have no reason to own one (I'm trying to avoid simply getting everything with a can opener on it), but it's tempting!

I'm skipping this admittedly nifty-looking scheme, as the prototype simply did not make it to Connecticut.  But I'm certainly in for a pair of NH and a pair of AMTK.

The Conrail font looks slightly off, too: too much space on both sides of the 'A'.  Almost looks like CONR AIL

So the question is did these got to VIA->PC->CR or just VIA->CR?  Amazing that the blue is close, if not an exact match with other CR blue units.
