All this is great, but other than BLW, which is sold out, where the heck can you BUY one? Not seeing them listed anywhere.

Ok, was trying to figure out eras so please correct me if I am wrong:

Peterbilt 281/351 produced 1954-1976

Kenworth K100 produced early 1960s until at least 1997

Kenworth W900 produced 1961 until now! :D

Peterbilt 379 produced 1987 until 2007

Obviously many of these ran for years after production ended.

So three of the four work for my 1975 layout - awesome! 8)

Mark

Looking at the models again, I dont think the K100 as tooled can go all the way back to the early 60s  :| - anyone know when the "extended" roof came out?

Carter stated above that the extended roof appeared in 1976.

Carter stated above that the extended roof appeared in 1976.

But, Pat has also tooled a flattop version of the K100 that will date back into the 1960s.

Other new trucks are a Kenworth T800 and an International 9600 cabover.

Next release will be Peterbilt 379 (with "stock" grille) and 3406 Cat engine with Merritt Gold Line 50-foot cattle trailer.

Additional trailers include a 28-foot pup, 40-foot flatbed and a western style logging trailer.

I will post more info after I have a chance to look at the photos I took today.  The Trainworx tables are back to back with the N Scale Vehicle Association's tables!

Edit:  There is also a dump truck bed and the Peterbilt 280/350 introduced in 1949.

A bunch just showed up at MBK: http://www.modeltrainstuff.com/N-Scale-Trucks-and-Trailers-s/1534.htm

Man they are going fast.  Had to nab an Optimus Prime 'just in case' I never get another chance.

Walthers shows all but the stagecoach one in stock, so dealers can get them or you could order direct from them. The stagecoach one will come later, so you can reserve now.

I forgot to mention that the Trainworx Kenworth T800 is the "early" version (as introduced in 1986) while the Showcase Kenworth T800 is the "late" version that is in production today.  I will try to get a side by side comparison photo.

Pictures just dont do these trucks justice. Picked up all but BJ and the Bear, and all I can say is WOW. I was thinking about how to "wire" these up for lights using fiber optics, I think I'll wait for later releases, these are just "too" good to mess up.

He had the rest, too.  They are gone.

I got the ones I wanted from MBK, thankfully a friend tipped me off that they were in and I didn't miss them.

I'm assuming the Merrit Gold Line cattle trailer dates to the same period as the 379?  HuskerN has a contemporary livestock trailer in prod already.  We could use an early cattle trailer again, since the Lineside kit is advertised but RPHobbies refuses to produce it or even respond to inquiries about if it will ever be produced again.
