What is in the news on your layout today?

I am starting this thread for folks to highlight the completed scenes on their layouts and to describe what is happening in the scene.

I will start with this example.



Today an officer of the Kachina NM police department had to be dispatched to the T Leary Chemical Co. to a small disturbance by plant workers.
Works claim unsafe working conditions and are demanding better safety and wages. Moments have been tense between workers and managers which was escalated by a worker spiting on an un-named managers shoe.
No arrests were made and the protest continues in a safe manner.

I like the idea, sort of like having the movie theatre with a marquee advertising a movie from your year, or an election year billboard, if applicable.  But, then the protest would have to be from an easily recognizable strike.

Or you could just go the humorous route, like having a building labeled "Model Railroader Magazine HQ" and having the signs say "More N Scale Now!"
