What is that Richie?  A piece of a mining shovel?

The slow progress continues on the Pope & Talbot sawmill "representation"...more additions to the in-take end of the buildings.

Have a great weekend!

Finally finished my Pennsy GLa hopper.

Started with the Bachmann car deco'd for PRR.  Stripped the thick factory paint to find some very nice detail underneath.  Modified the coupler pockets prior to repainting to meld the upper portion of the Bachmann pocket with an MTL #2004 coupler box.  Micro-Trains body-mounted #1015 couplers, Atlas USRA Andrews trucks with FVM wheelsets standing in as Crown trucks, brakeline formed from phosper-bronze wire and added, custom decals printed on an Alps, weathered with chalks.  One down, six New Haven USRA hoppers to finish decaling.

Still moving, Still unpacking, and working this weekend, so no new train stuff.

I posted this on last weeks WU, figured I'd repost it here:

kinda like this plan, I gotta shrink one portion of it to a minimum of 9' (it's 12x12 right now). I may eliminate the double track area and go single track also. I don't know yet. Suggestions?

Are you going to motorize it or are you going to push it around with a ghost van?

Either way, it's looking good so far. Should make for an interesting build project.
