NS Camp Trailers Available Again

My NS Camp Trailer (good for CR too) is available once again by popular demand on Shapeways:

See it here:  http://shpws.me/I5Pa

I don't intend to upload the truck parts - Showcase is doing a better job than I ever could.  I am considering doing some more models though,
new variations on the camp trailers and some concrete things which should render well on Shapeways.

(N-scale  1/160)

Great, I've been looking for these... Didn't you have multiple versions before? ~Ian

I had two - but there is an issue with the second model.

I now have the models and design software moved over to my Mac and I promise to fix it and add a few more
window configurations....

Do a search on YouTube - there are a LOT of videos of NS camp cars.

For present day, most seem to be on gray, refurbished ex- CR flatcars

I wonder if these are close to the portable units the NP bought just before the BN merger?

I actually looked at them,  I think they have different windows, but the same length.  I will look for some photos when I get motivated here to do the additional window arrangements.

Hey Lou, are yours corrugated? They appear to be sheathed in the same type of siding as RVs and camp trailers.

BLMA did at one point. Not sure if they are still available.

Jimmo:  The siding looks very much like the NP's, and if I remember right, they were built by a mobile home manufacturer.  So it probably is a standard material of the time.

On the other hand, other than one picture in a book, all I know about them is what I remember from the NP's employee magazine - over 45 years ago!  My memories should be taken with a large grain of salt.
