Thanks for the confirmation about the wheel size. I'll also be swapping them out for "fine scale" wheel sets.

Received mine D&H one yesterday and it is a very nicely done model indeed.

Thank you for doing these less common prototypes as they add variety to the consists of freight trains.

Thanks of your idea of a geared wheel.  I have been thinking of getting a nautical propeller from a RC boat store in town and using it for the load.  Your concept has given me hints about how to brace it.  Thanks.

Best thing to do is search online for flatcar and gon pics with oversized payloads.  I watch the railroad slides auctions on eBay, and this March 1971 pic was the inspiration for this geared wheel load.

Pretty sure the two models have the same XY dimensions but I will confirm.  F25 well is 3.6mm longer and 0.5mm narrower.  Payload will fit, but the bottom of the bracing may have to be shaved slightly.

This photo of an SP well car has a flywheel payload, but the mounting would be similar for a propeller.
