The GSC Well Cars are in the house!  Hopefully distributor orders will be out by the end of the week, with dealer orders and samples sent by early next week.

I wish I could find a reason to run one of these! They look great!
Josh Surkosky

Here's a Clerihew about Ed. K.

Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
But mention his law
and you've pulled your last straw!

Alternate version:
Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
He asks excitedly "Did you say Ménage à Trois?"
No, I said "Ed's Law."

Looking good!  CR, PC, LV and NYC for me from this run.  CR and PC to run and LV and NYC just because.  Thanks.

I am of the strongly held conviction that
"Because I LIKE them!"
is a very good reason.

I am planning to get one cause they look pretty cool

Will there be a foobie Pennsy paint scheme in the future?
Never argue with idiots; they'll drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience.

Great, now you can focus on those X65s!

And what about a NACC/Trinity PD5000? I'll take ADM, and Wonderbread.

1958 is your floor, and D&H, NYC and LV all conceivably could have traveled on neighboring PRR rails.

Will there be a foobie Pennsy paint scheme in the future?

Yes.

Another well car release before the holiday season, then an XIH boxcar release, and then the X65 debut.  That is the plan anyway.

Not happening.  8)

I'm personally procuring a D&H for my layout.  But the LV, featuring a classic old-school style deco, is probably my favorite scheme out of the first release.

Thank you for the pictures, Bryan.  These are great models, like the other three siblings.  I was a bit late when ordering them but still hope get some of these.

Now we might have a kind of contest about building proper loads for this car.  My line of thought is finding some prototype load information and then build something "creative" (i.e. not necessarily prototypical) from available parts in the scrap box.

Unknown.  You may have to hunt down and upgrade the old Walthers models.  ;)

That sounds as if it would be an interesting contest for ESM to run ... Have to give it some thought.

In the interim, Hay Brothers will be releasing some payloads for the model.  They will be featured in the product video that hopefully will be out the beginning of June.  8)

Ive been pondering the load question as well. The prototype A.C. Cars were designed to haul turbine blades for hydro electric dams (the reason why they sit so much higher then the Esm prototypes)

I'll have to do some reasearch into some of the other things they built at the Allison Chalmers plant during the 40's/50's...
