Have others see this?  BLI apparently has added to their current catalog a N scale version of their NYC USRA all-steel box car?

Now if we can get the GN S-2, 6K tank car and the cyro tank I'll be happy.

I hope volume 2 has some more new N scale locomotive power.

Quite excited to see them expanding their N scale rolling stock offerings, especially the NYC USRA cars (even in the subsidiary roads, too).

But, more importantly, who's not going to want a whole train of stock cars with animal sounds???  Although, how loud is an N scale cow/hog/mule, anyway?

Would be great if we could get them to do the Consol. in N.  Much closer to what I would desire than the Bachmann model, though just having a replacement boiler for the Bachmann model would suit the bill as well.

They list singles. Even though I want this car it seems just as odd as their other releases. If there were more roadnames it would sell better. Im wondering if their sales are in yet from what is already out there.

It is an odd car, but a very iconic one... glad to see it in plastic!

I'm always up for a new box car, but if it's on the same level as their hoppers, $30 might be too much to shell out.  Hopefully there will be some production photos before the order deadline.  :|

These esoteric prototypes must be doing well for BLI in N or they wouldn't keep announcing them.  That's great news that new N projects are being scheduled, and the NYC boxcar will be a welcome addition.

Are there any other roadnames they could get away with on the body?

Most of the NYC subsidiary roads, for certain.

Note that they will be offering four-packs at $100 along with the single cars at $30. Their marketing plans have evolved for the better.
