Carter,

Do you have any information about the automobile carrier trailers shown in the background of the AC Models well car???

They are very interesting. Seems like this convention is the year of the N Scale Semi-Tractor and Trailer!!!

The three trailers have been released and are available from N-Scale Kits.  http://www.nscalekits.co.uk/autotrailers.html

The double axle auto carrier for the Clejan spine car was nominated for the N Scale Vehicle Association New Vehicle of the Year Award in 2009.

The single axle auto carrier was announced and available at the convention in Milwaukee in 2013.

The auto carrier for the Flexi-van was announced and available at the convention in Roanoke in 2014.  This model has also been nominated for this year's N Scale Vehicle Kit of the Year Award.

And yes, there has been some very exciting news about the new truck and trailer models!

I had a thought, I could print some keystones out on paper and take them to the range and shoot them full of holes.

See ya, Wyatt
Moving a horn is a lot simpler than shortening a fuel tank!;-) to have the correct tanks AND sound.....Is this heaven?!!!!!!!!
You could always use Keystone or Keystone light to shoot holes thru!

I spoke with Ken for a few minutes, and when I asked about the possibility for future products, he said that BLI sees N Scale as their next big growth market.

That would be encouraging had not BLI thought exactly the same thing 12 years ago when they launched "Precision Craft Models."  I'm certainly more hopeful than ever, but not so much that I'm expecting a sudden windfall of N scale PRR steam.

I certainly agree with your assessment. I like to say that I've got my fingers crossed, but I'm not holding my breath. He basically said that during the recession they made the decision to focus on their core HO market. I can certainly understand that, and I really hope it's the full story. The next few years will tell.

Well, it's not all Pennsylvania.
Atlas had their PS1's with two types of 6' doors, beautifully done. [ Guests cannot view attachments ]

Inter mountain had a sample of their war emergency boxcar, unfinished but nice. Glad to see it coming, sorry no pic. It was too dark to take photos in some areas, including the contest room. That especially was frustrating... beautiful workmanship on display in dim light.

Continued...
Trainworx had some mindblowing truck and trailer samples on exhibit. When I say mindblowing, and I'm not a truck guy, I mean it:

and finally, scored some nicely priced ATSF PRB heavyweights and this little beauty. All in all, a good trip!

Perhaps also interesting to note that Intermountain plans to make the frames for the F units with sound available as a separate item. This means that you can add sound to your older F-units relatively easy.

Two styles of dump beds. A SWB single axle. 2 IH cabovers. A new 40' flat, catlle van and a 26' flat UPS. A T800.

God help me.

Anyone know if the bulk tanker is a food products or a petroleum prototype? I need a bunch of corn syrup tanker trailers.

Oh and that modern IH9600 should be good for Schneider AND JB Hunt. I think Werner had some too. Not sure about Swift.

sorry to hear that...I've been to far too many shows and contests that did the same thing...have the contest room in a dimly lit room...

looks as if there are some nice things to see there, though; those Atlas Box cars are beautiful, and, although waaay out of my era, those tractors and trailers are incredible.
any 'bombshell' news?...is Walthers bringing back the Erie-Builts?

Great things so far for N scale. Anyone have anything on Micro-Trains July releases? I got a call  from a friend about them releasing their baggage car lettered for CN in green/yellow livery. Anyone seen anything on this?

Thanks, Jon
