PWRS had multiple version of this hopper

Ryan - can you interrogate PWRS about the double stack car they announced at Roanoke? Delivery?

Thanks for the photos!

I am glad that people are happy with what they are seeing.

But why does every single thread have to have the PRR involved in it. People accuse manufactures of being bias..well....news flash discussion boards can be bias too.

One of the neatest things I've seen is Trainworx new truck tractors and trailers with hoods that flip up to work on an engine that is also there, some awesome non denominational stuff. I picked up some weedcutter plows to put on my Sd40-2,s that I did not even know they made. Speaking of 40-2,s, intermountain had test shots of their body shells,  but is still working on the frames. Handrails looked pretty good for plastic, but nothing running. They are also aware that the Milw/Zoo version frame with the 3200 gal tanks is appropriate for the SD 38-2 for those of you modeling steel RR's.

Doug,

Any info from BLI about the M1a / M1b with step pilot vs. cast pilot?  I thought these were all going to be cast pilot versions.  Will the M1a have a step pilot and the M1b have a cast pilot?  I have 1 of each on reserve and may want to change this depending on the details.

Thanks,
Scott

I'll do my best to add some more when I get up there this afternoon! Seriously though, apart from the numbers of PRR modelers on this board, with this being the first public showing of the M1, which has been promised for nigh on to a decade, PRR content shouldn't be much of a surprise in this thread.

My plan is to go straight to the BLI table and ask that very question.

Rick, that is a major selling point with me, the proper fuel tanks. I am curious to see if the mount the horn over the engineer, on the slant part of the roof, on the SOO units.

I have 8 units on order, 4 SOO, 3 MILW and 1 CP RAIL.

I had a thought, I could print some keystones out on paper and take them to the range and shoot them full of holes.

See ya, Wyatt

I will be there at the N Scale Vehicle Association table.

Carter

Carter,

Do you have any information about the automobile carrier trailers shown in the background of the AC Models well car???

They are very interesting. Seems like this convention is the year of the N Scale Semi-Tractor and Trailer!!!

Scott:
Ken Silvestri is the BLI marketing guy. Unfortunately he does not know a generator from an a$$hat. Not a detail guy. He said to ask Matt Williamson, who I will call next week.

I suspect that your speculation about the M1a/M1b is correct.

I have arrived.

I also asked about the headlamps, and I got the same information. I spoke with Ken for a few minutes, and when I asked about the possibility for future products, he said that BLI sees N Scale as their next big growth market. I asked about more PRR steam, and he laughed and commented that their name is not a coincidence. That turned into a discussion of our last visits to the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania. Time to start saving pennies.

You should push him on releasing their couplers as a separate item.  It's basically the MTL knuckle attached to the Atlas guts.  It would be helpful for retrofitting a multitude of equipment.
