It may be fake, but the roof really is not on that car as you can see through the side panel to the the inside.

If that's one of those FEMA death trains, the prisoners will be able to escape... or they already did.   :D

Craig,

What did you use for the roof (including the roof caps)?

Roof is from Monroe Models:

The caps are just thin strips of masking tape. I sealed the tape down with a matte gel wash so it won't lift up later.

Not sure that it is fake.  The handrailing above the car is bent inward.  Wouldn't be the first time an oversized load was put on the wrong track... there have been several incidents that were captured after the fact of a car received damages because it was "on the wrong track".

Here are some links to a stacked train that was sent through the Detroit. Mi. -Windsor, Ont. tunnel... a major mistake...

This week concludes the tour of The Oakville Sub by Mitch Legg's SD80s - custom painted and detailed by Brian Kuhn.

It's been a pleasure showing you the Sub once again.  Thanks to Mitch for the opportunity, and thanks to all who have commented.

That's pretty neat. Is that the Titchy offering?

[ Guests cannot view attachments ] No modeling yet, but while removing trash and debris out of Plunge Creek with a group of volunteers this morning, stumbled on this delightful diorama. Understand it's all for sale.... It's in Higland, CA, not too far off the old Redlands Loop.
