It kinda torques me that they refer to this as "frosted", as if it is a selling point.
So could Bryan now put the White Tower up on Shapeways?
I kinda like that finish. It may work well to print vehicles as a solid, so you don't have to worry about adding the windshield and windows later. Especially if you do the interior as a relief that you can paint from the underside.
But once you clean off the wax to prep the part for painting, the part becomes solid white.
Painting the cleaned part with a clear gloss lacquer should make it translucent again.
Do we have proof of that theory?
