How about these? There are both coach and combine versions. Built by Osgood Bradley and used by B&M, NYNH&H, NYO&W and WM

I've got drawings of both...

Interesting!....
these might be pretty neat!...and the trucks would be real useful as well...

No it wasn't.  Paired windows all the way down.  Now the less common MP54 was closer to having single windows, having windows arranged in groups of three but aside from some doodlebug trailers single windows just were not considered by PRR.

Relying on a faulty memory.  Upon closer inspection they were indeed paired, but just not as obviously as they are on the P70.

Oops!   :D

My vote here!

Given the good response MT has had over the CB&Q Baggage-mail, I am inclined to think you might want to look at CB&Q prototype for the single window coach.  If you want to do single window coaches just for me, I would vote for L&N or Erie, but would be willing to live with just about any 20 or 22 window coach.

In terms of things I would like to see (in no particular order), I would go with a NYC 60' baggage car (on the frame of the RPO, perhaps), or rebuilt RPOs along the lines that Jerry Laboda suggested-
http://n-scalevarnish.info/index/varnish/MT-rpo.htm

Or, I am a sucker for almost any ATSF heavyweight that would have still been on the Chicago-LA or Chicago-Texas trains circa mid 1950s, although assuming I finish my M&R cars, I have enough 3000s and 3020s.  A 3050 or 3060 car (close to identical series) would find a place at my house, or a 10sec-Lounge (that ATSF turned into coaches in the 50s), which might have some sales to other roads (although the designs and plans for 10-Ls varied, the "General" cars did get around a bit).

8-1-2 would seem to be a natural- I would think tooling would be similar to the existing sleepers.  Used on roads across the country.

And a bit farther afield, rebuilt coaches ala L&N or Wabash- modernized windows, but kept the clerestory roof, or for even more expense and new tooling, ACL or GTW/CN with rebuilt balloon roofs but looking almost like streamliners when they finished with them.

OK, being realistic, I would go with the NYC 60' baggage (or rebuilt RPO, its a toss up), 8-1-2 (I'd personally rather have the 10-L, but imagine I am in the minority on that), or the ATSF 3050-60 (which only ATSF modelers would buy in quantity, but figure how many of those PRR diners have you had to paint green so far?)

I have a mind like a steel trap...a VERY rusty, old steel trap.

I would go for bunch of the O-B B&M cars, but I'm not holding my breath. That would be a real long shot.

I'll say it again  Solarium.  This is the Walthers HO model.

Used by many railroads.

My highest need is a combine, and I'd recommend PRR's Liberty series.  It's very generic-looking (and B&O had some too :D). There's plans in the Nov '89 MR.

Also high on my needs list is an 8-5 Pullman and, like Bob just mentioned, 3-1-Lounge solarium cars.  Mainline Modeler did plans of both back in the day.  I can dig through my mags and find the issues if you need them.

I vote for a 3000-series ATSF coach and/or smoker

I'll tell you what we could really use...  An 1890s era coach, combine, and baggage car set that's actually available (versus the old Roundhouse/Athearn ones that occasionally pop up on eBay)!  Frankly, MTL's tooling would blow the Roundhouse tooling out of the water.

For the coach, I'd recommend a B&M or M&PA prototype.

But, I won't hold my breath!   :D

But we are discussing a single-window coach. Those do not look like single windows to me... am I missing something or you just have your won agenda out in the left field?

Seriously.  This is a single-window coach.  We really could use this.  Although a bit late to match your Civil War stuff it might still fit in to your current offerings.

So, looking for suggestions for three more cars including the Single Window Coach...one I am pressing for is a Coach Baggage combine...so maybe only one suggestion  :D
