Rapido BN exec cars. $50 a car and the middle "stripe" is lime green.

I imagine that the  emoticon speaks as loud as words.   Unless it was added to the original  post after you asked the question.  Than the poster gets a  himself too.

don't understand this at all.  If this is applauding these cars, I don't get it.  These  cars are pathetically wrong.  They look nothing like the pre-release art work or the real cars.  That lime green should be cream.  I have the four cars and I would not have bought them if the pre-release art work looked liked the as-produced cars.  I would sell them if I could find a sucker to take them at what I paid for them.

Can anyone post some pics?

Rapido's website has this photo (probably pre production sample)
and it looks spot on...

PWRS has this shot which looks decidedly greener, but still not lime green...
perhaps the Forest green is bleedig through...

The Railwire is not your personal army.

To my eyes, and on my monitor, the colors seem to be within prototype normal variations.  Of course, I don't know how accurate the color rendition is on my monitor.  It certainly doesn't look "lime green" to me.

The color is not even close, it is hideous, I have the four car set.  The old Con-Cor set and the Kato SD70MAC's are right.  The Rapido cars are grossly wrong.  I live in Topeka KS.  I saw the new business train when it was unveiled at the Eisenhower centennial in 1991.  The BN business fleet was based in KC and I saw those cars many times.  After the merger the cars were moved to the Topeka shops and I saw them many times here until they were repainted into the BNSF colors.
